Construction is as busy as ever. As the industry adjusts to COVID protocols, many aspects of construction have been affected. With many projects on the horizon, one of the largest impacts has been supply and demand. This has resulted in material shortages across many trades, thus resulting in longer lead times for otherwise readily available materials.
So how has Z-Best, Inc. accommodated this? The solution was simple. Increase the stock on hand in bulk purchases to accommodate the strict deadlines of projects, allowing for us to be ready at a moments notice to be onsite rather than having to inform our clients that the material lead times are outside of their schedule. Now of course there is always exceptions to this rule, particularly with specialty products that are made to order per project. But for common place applications, especially with stretch-fabric panels, we are and have been able to drastically increase our on hand material supply by 5x the amount. This has allowed us to navigate the material shortages much easier and therefore perform on the projects as needed to meet deadlines.
We all hope that lead-times and material availability will come back to pre-COVID levels. However rest-assured, that in the meantime, when contracted with Z-Best, Inc. we are making extreme efforts to ensure your project hits the ground running and on time and that materials arrive to the project as needed.
