Beginning mostly in March of this year, construction as an industry took a sharp turn with regard to logistics. The COVID-19 Pandemic, as everyone knows, has affected all industries and all aspects of life as we know it. Commercial construction is no different, however, as an industry we have witnessed general contractors, trade contractors, and more coming together to battle this pandemic and to keep essential construction moving forward. We want to thank all of our employees for continuing the mission, and a special thank you to our superintendents and field technicians for your unwavering dedication to these construction projects. We understand that this puts you in densely populated areas, with increased risk, and we are doing everything in our power to reduce this risk.
We would like to thank our partners in the general contracting community for your steadfast effort to keep the job-sites as safe and clean as possible. We have witnessed an urgent response by all general contractors to implement preventative protocols, response plans, and constant communication to keep trade contractors safe and allow our employees to continue their work as safely as possible. For this, we at Z-Best want to thank each and everyone of you.
To that end, Z-Best Inc. has also implemented preventative protocols, safety measures, and response plans to do our part to mitigate the COVID-19 threat, and to not only keep our employees as safe as possible, but also those of other trades on job sites.
We are updating JHA's ( Job Hazard Analysis ) and our company safety manual to include COVID-19 measures. In addition to CDC guidelines regarding social distancing, which we are applying to our job-sites, we are sanitizing our office daily, sanitizing hard surfaces, sanitizing hand-tools and power tools in the field daily, and sanitizing vehicles. Furthermore we are having daily safety meetings in the work place to discuss preventative measures for the day, as they apply to the day's task. We have also issued all employees sanitizing wipes and sanitizer.
We strongly believe that measures such as this, combined with the efforts from the general contracting community, will bring together comprehensive measures and protocols to see that we all get through this safely and together. We wish all good health in the days ahead. As many have said, we will get through it together. Through all of this, there has been a lot of positive things to emerge as a result of this crisis. It's important we keep that in mind as well. The humanitarian efforts that have been brought forth by individuals and organizations has been tremendous, impressive, and heart-warming.
While this months Blog is not a typical one, such that would be dedicated to acoustical issues, products, and installs, neither is construction as we know it this month. So we felt it prudent to recognize the efforts being made as an industry and a community.
That said, we will end with some pictures of Z-Best, Inc. project installs.
